Working, working, working

I know that, from the outset, it sounds like vacation -- Greek island in the middle of nowhere, someone cooking and cleaning for you, a few feet from the ocean, games most evenings, yoga....

wait a minute. It IS pretty vacation-like.

However, this consulting thing is killing my beach time. I'm editing from 5:30 - 6:30, 12:30 - 3:00 and 6:00 to 7 or 7:30. With weighing coins and typing in little data cards in between. I'm really looking forward to being done next week when they submit their proposal!

This is my long excuse for why there are no pictures of goats today. I'm sorry! I will definitely get many photos of goats this weekend, but I ran out of time today. However, I'm not complaining, because I'm pretty sure I'd get no sympathy from the desk bound!

No pygmy goats for bridal shower gift. Still reeling from 3 children, 3 cats, 1 dog, 1 lizard, nest full of baby birds killing my fern, and a fiance. NO MORE LIVING THINGS. Instead bring me Greek wine flavored like gelato with a goat on the label. Yes.

Don't suppose you get american tv in greece... Last night I watched the first half of Victoria Beckham: Coming to America and it's hilarious. Can't wait to finish it. I will keep it on the DVR for a Spice Party sometime this fall. If you can catch it on You Tube or something, go for it. She's a funny spice.

Posh Spice is my hero.

I noticed in the show how much you two look alike. As another alternative career suggestion, you could be a Posh stand-in.

Thanks Shane! If it meant marrying a hot British soccer star, being fabulously wealthy, and living in London, count me in!

Yes, Yes, and No. They're in LA now. But that just means that your unending supply of money goes further.

Yes! Posh in America, episode 1, was so vapidly entertaining. Like Simple Life, 1st season. Awful, but *major* (in Victoria speak).
Query: did Posh grow up wealthy or working class? I've heard conflicting reports...

Also - blog heist - MICHELLE, GOOD LUCK!!

Ooh, I bet Michelle might know. I have no idea about Posh's upbringing. I didn't see much of the first simple life, but I thought Posh was much better - I got a sense that she was being purposefully ironic and consciously funny about it. The comment about the most embarrassing thing about being pulled over was that she was wearing flats killed me. That was too funny. I believe she intended it as a joke. She definitely gets more credit than Paris in my book.

Kate - I heard this evening about a Greek fire-fighting helicopter that crashed. Was that unrelated to the burning churches? I didn't catch a city of occurance.

Shane, we will have to watch this together.

is today Michelle's big day? Kicking the bar? awesome!
